About Morris Kahn Marine Research Station
The Morris Kahn Marine Research Station is an ecological research centre focused on the eastern Mediterranean basin. It maps marine changes and predicts the climate’s effects on local flora and fauna, using both traditional and cutting-edge technologies.

The limitations of data collection
After interviewing Ocean researchers and biologists, we've found that most information taken by Ocean experts is located in big, long Excel files stored on Google Drive, which limits the long-term documentation of information collected and may even cause multiple researches on the same topic.

Concept and Design
SeaNet is designed to be accessible and easy to use. All information is displayed at glance to ease the navigation through immense amount of information.
Instead of hiding data behind menus and complex layers, the interface presents it clearly and visually, using colours and graphics that refer to the ocean. The typography across the platform refers to traditional documents in order to enhance the "scientific" feeling.
