Synoptic is an aspiring-to-be textless weather app inspired by Max Bill's work - a Swiss artist who combined mathematical precision with minimalist aesthetics to create harmonious and functional designs using geometry.
Max believed that art had the power to cross countries and act as its own language, without words or letters. Because of that, I decided to challenge myself to create an application that could be as understandable as possible without text. To do that, I used motion to simulate the different types of weather.

I used Helvetica as a font, which suited perfectly due to its clean and precise design. I worked with primary colors smartly to use each one to its full potential, as the graphic had to be simple yet on point, so the user could understand it without needing text.
